Mohamed is a manager with BSc in Accounting.  Mohamed has substantial experience of over 15 years advising on the tax implications of operating in Kuwait through different structures and using several financial models.  Also, has experience of negotiating with the Tax Department during tax objection and appeal processes.

He previously worked as a Tax Manager in Schlumberger and General Electric and was responsible for statutory and tax matters in Kuwait.  This included a landscape of multiple entities in different business sectors like oil & gas, power generation, and water treatment.

Moreover, Mohamed has tax consultancy and compliance experience with Big Four audit firms in Egypt and Kuwait having worked on a variety of projects including legal structuring, tax planning, transfer pricing, and tax review of major projects.

His experience in the industry enables him to deal with multiple accounting ERP’s and equipped him with a long exposure in various accounting treatments and tax solutions.

He has worked for sectors including oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, information technology/information technology enabled service (ITES), and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) .

He has been actively involved in liaising with the officials at the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority and income tax authorities on a daily basis.

He is currently managing a portfolio of clients with diversified sectors under the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) regime and international corporate tax laws.
