 Fouad is a Managing Partner at Andersen in Kuwait. He is also the Regional Managing Director for Central Asia and the Co-Regional Managing Director in the Middle East. He has over 35 years of experience in tax advisory, tax review, accounting, business advisory and production sharing agreements.

Fouad has particular expertise in supporting clients across a wide range of sectors including: oil and gas, banking, insurance, hospitality, real estate, construction, business process outsourcing, financial services, not for profit and public sectors.

Fouad also has extensive experience in due diligence reviews and advisory, cross border transactions, employee compensation restructuring and tax optimization reviews.

Fouad has extensive experience in advising multinational enterprise (MNEs) on business restructurings with conceptualization stage (green field and brown field projects).

He also has experience in tax planning, VAT readiness, family business, mediation and arbitration.

He has been actively involved in liaising with the officials at the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority.

Fouad is currently handling a portfolio of clients with diversified sectors for obtaining KDIPA license in Kuwait.

Prior to joining Andersen in Kuwait, Fouad held the following positions:

• Office Managing Partner at Arthur Andersen, Syria
